Spinning Contest Rules and Regulations No entry fee or pre-registration required Speed Drop-Spindle Spinning Contest: Saturday, 2:00, Fiber Tent Contest is open to all ages. Youth and adults will be judged separately. Contestants must bring their own drop spindles. Contestants will be provided with a set weight of prepared roving. Contestants will spin for 10 minutes. After this time, the yarn will be measured. Winner will be awarded based on the length of yarn spun. Prizes will be given to all contestants!

Speed Wheel Spinning Contest: Saturday, 2:00, Fiber Tent

1. Contest is open to all ages. Youth and adults will be judged separately.
2. Contestants must bring their own wheels.
3. Contestants will be provided with a set weight of prepared roving.
4. Contestants will spin for 10 minutes.
5. After this time, the yarn will be measured.
6. Winner will be awarded based on the length of yarn spun.
7. Prizes will be given to all contestants!
   
   

Speed Knitting Contest: 2:00 Sunday, Fiber Tent

1. Contest is open to all ages. Youth and adults will be judged separately.
2. Contestants are encouraged to bring their own needles, any size. Needles will be available to borrow for the contest.
3. Contestants will be provided with wool to knit.
4. Before the timing begins, using a cast-on method of their choice, contestants will cast on 20 stitches.
5. Knitters will knit for 15 minutes. At the end of that time, the winners will be determined by the number of rows knit.
6. Prizes will be given to all contestants!
